Chia, il mare

Chia is the right place to spend your summer holydays.The coasts are full of beaches and holds, besides the sea is one of the most beautiful seas of the world.......

There are a lot of people on the beaches in July and in August,but ,if you like, there are less people in June end in September...

The sea of Chia is good to go in for surfing because of the mistral end the libeccio.

Particularly the beach called "Su Giudeu" is a good place to play kite-surf.

There are windsurf international races every year in September....

It's beautiful to explore the sea-bottom and if you are a bit lucky you should see the pavings of the ancient Bithia.....

◊ Chia's figs

A tourist who arrives at Chia has to try the tasty local figs! You can buy figs and others fruits in the stalls along the streets.

Sardinia's Myrtle is the liqueur most diffused in the island. It's obtained from the soaking of myrtle's berries in pure alcohol with honey or sugar. The myrtle's liqueur has tonic and digestive property, it's good to drink it when it's cold at the end of the meal.
